Yesterday, (Sunday, November 6th 2016) Daylight Savings Time ended at 2 a.m.
Daylight Savings Time (DST) is the practice of advancing clocks during the summer months, so that people get up earlier in the morning and experience more daylight in the evening. Typically, users of DST adjust clocks one hour forward near the start of spring and one hour backward in the fall. A common mnemonic phrase to remember this is, “Spring forward, Fall back.”
The practice has both advocacy and criticism. The below video is a highly regarded informative explanation of Daylight Savings Time.
We hope you enjoyed your extra hour of sleep!
